Teenagers and blogs
- a slideshow
"It’s basically a very visual “collage” of what I’ve found during my expeditions
on the Skyblog blogging platform which a lot of French-speaking teenagers use.
It reflects the kind of issues that I’m asked to come and speak about in schools
(to teenagers, parents, and teachers — not at the same time, of course)."

UN forecasts boom in 'green jobs'
"The UN says millions of new jobs will be created worldwide over the next
few decades by the development of alternative energy technologies...
It says "green jobs" depend on a shift of subsidies from oil and
natural gas to wind, solar, and geothermal power.
New jobs could also include the expansion of recycling
and making environmentally friendly vehicles."

Leaves are falling
Sung to the tune of Frère Jacques
(Education World).
"Leaves are falling,
Leaves are falling,
'Round my town,
Red and brown.
See them hit the sidewalk,
Hear them as they plop, drop
On the street,
On the street" |

Out of Time Man sung by Mano Negra
Lyrics + Video
"Time don't fool me no more
I throw my watch to the floor...
"Now it's half past two"
Long gone the rendez-vous
"Now it's half past three"
Time made a fool out of me
"Now it's half past four"
Oh baby, can't you see ?
No use in waiting no more
It's a timing tragedy"

Thank U sung by Alanis Morissette
"How about getting off of these antibiotics
How about stopping eating when I'm filled up...
How about me not blaming you for everything
How about me enjoying the moment for once
How about how good it feels to finally forgive you..."

Brain chip reads man's thoughts
"A paralysed man in the US has become the first person to benefit
from a brain chip that reads his mind...
The brain chip reads his mind and sends the thoughts to a computer to decipher...
He can think his TV on and off, change channels and alter the volume
thanks to the technology and software linked to devices in his home."
