After returning home drunk one night after having a barroom confrontation with a World War II veteran who expresses no sympathy to Ron,
Ron's disillusionment grows severe enough that he has an intense fight with his mother, yelling at her that there was no God, and that they
murdered babies in Vietnam disregarding what Christianity actually taught."

"is a psychedelic rock/acid rock song from Jefferson Airplane's 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow...
One of Grace Slick's earliest songs, written during either late 1965 or early 1966, uses imagery found in the fantasy works of Lewis Carroll: 1865's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its 1871 sequel Through the Looking-Glass such as changing size after taking pills or
drinking an unknown liquid. It is commonly thought that these are also references to the hallucinatory effects of psychedelic drugs,
such as LSD andpsilocybin mushrooms. Characters referenced include Alice, the hookah-smoking caterpillarthe White Knight,
the Red Queen, and the Dormouse. "

Jack the Ripper (?)
"The identity of the killer of five - or possibly six - women in the East End of London in 1888 has remained a mystery,
but the case has continued to horrify and fascinate.
Between August and November 1888,the Whitechapel area of London was the scene of five brutal murders.
The killer was dubbed 'Jack the Ripper'. All the women murdered were prostitutes,
and all except for one - Elizabeth Stride - were horribly mutilated...
There has been much speculation as to the identity of the killer. It has been suggested that he or she was a doctor or butcher...
One theory links the murders with Queen Victoria's grandson, Prince Albert Victor, also known as the Duke of Clarence..."

CAMELS

Killing Camels and the Business of Carbon Offsets
"Northwest Carbon recently submitted a novel proposal under Australia’s proposed Carbon Farming Initiative
to have camel culls approved as a legitimate method to reduce emissions.
If approved, the camels would be shot by marksmen or corralled alive and transported to an abattoir for slaughter,
where the meat could be used for pet food and possibly human consumption...
One camel emits about 99 pounds of methane into the atmosphere each year via burps and farts.
By 2020, feral camel flatulence is predicted to surpass 1.9 million metric tons of emissions in Australia.
Northwest Carbon argues that killing the camels would reduce emissions and help combat climate change."

BLOOMSDAY

Bloomsday - June 16th
"is a commemoration observed annually on June 16th in Dublin and elsewhere to celebrate the life of Irish writer James Joyce
and relive the events in his novel Ulysses, all of which took place on the same day in Dublin in 1904. Joyce chose the date
because his first outing with his wife-to-be, Nora Barnacle happened on that day, when they walked to the Dublin urban village of Ringsend.
The name derives from Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of Ulysses...
The day involves a range of cultural activities including Ulysses readings and dramatisations, pub crawls and general merriment..."

Being exposed to formaldehyde may increase the risk of developing leukemia and brain cancer...
Formaldehyde sources in the home include pressed-wood products, cigarette smoke, and fuel-burning appliances "

What are the short-term health effects of formaldehyde exposure?
"
When formaldehyde is present in the air at levels exceeding 0.1 ppm, some individuals may experience adverse effects such as watery eyes;
burning sensations in the eyes, nose, and throat; coughing; wheezing; nausea; and skin irritation. Some people are very sensitive to formaldehyde, whereas others have no reaction to the same level of exposure."
